The Nominating Committee of AFP – Greater Los Angeles Chapter invites nominations for the Board of Directors with a one year term beginning January 1, 2009. Please take a moment to review the documents provided describing Board member selection criteria and responsibilities and consider nominating outstanding individuals or yourself.

All Directors are elected for one year terms and may serve a lifetime maximum of six.  Current Directors who wish to continue service must submit a completed Nominations form. As GLAC is committed to diversity in all forms, we encourage nominees who represent diverse cultures, lifestyles and/or who are employed in the variety of organizations that serve the Greater Los Angeles community.

Please evaluate your own personal strengths and self-nominate.  If you are nominating someone else, please obtain that individual's agreement before submission, ensure they meet the criteria and ask him/her to provide a summary of prior service to GLAC.

The Nominating Committee will review all nominations in accordance with established criteria and the slate of nominees will be presented to GLAC members for election in October.

Strong leadership is a hallmark of the AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter and we seek professionally qualified and highly committed members for Board service.  Thank you for your help in identifying outstanding candidates for this rewarding volunteer opportunity.
